The car was exported to Auckland, New Zealand in 1962 with registration of A1 1958. The previous owner in New Zealand had the car for 20 years before the car was imported back to the UK in 1990. The import invoice records the mileage as 105,000. The car was subject to a careful restoration programme at Carcare of Bovingdon, Hertfordshire during the 90’s and has been looked after extremely well by the previous and current owners. The car is garaged and in the winter is kept in a Carcoon.
The car is immaculate in all respects with perfect paintwork and superb interior.
The car comes with a comprehensive file including service history, Heritage certificate and original New Zealand log book with record of ownership and mileage. The current owner even has the original New Zealand registration plates in his possession.
